Further Highland Prep Academic Goals

The Schools of the Future Committee of the National Association of Independent Schools Commission on Accreditation has created a list of 7 essential abilities that students should demonstrate as a result of their education.  The faculty and administrative staff at Highland Prep are dedicated to guiding students to the realization of all of these invaluable scholastic goals.  As can be seen, these skills are indispensable for the development of life-long learners and contributing world citizens.  As is evident in our class outlines and syllabi, the curriculum at HPS has been constructed to meet these rigorous standards:
 
ESSENTIAL ABILITIES

Identify, manage, and address complex problems
